Sugar Land Town Square

Located in the heart of the city, Sugar Land Town Square is where all the action happens. Pedestrian friendly, the square features rows of shops and restaurants with outdoor patios that overlook public art installments. Major corporations like Minute Maid and CVR Energy have made the square their home, making the area a lively hangout after work.

Umbria in Sugar Land

The City of Sugar Land is hosting a multi-day festival from September 27th - October 1st, called Umbria in Sugar Land at locations throughout the city. The festival is an international project produced by the International Film Festival of Spello, also known as Festival del Cinema Città di Spello ed i Borghi Umbri. The film festival will feature both Italian and European films at the historic Sugar Land Auditorium, a public screening of a film in Sugar Land Town Square and additional cultural events and seminars.

Gulf Coast International Dragon Boat Regatta

The dragons are coming… Hordes of traditional and colorful dragon boats, 40 feet long, with 20 paddlers, a drummer, and steersperson, take over Brooks Lake in Sugar Land, October 8-9. Whether competing with your company team or cheering from the sidelines, this immersion in Asian culture is something for all ages. Enjoy live music, cultural performances, and great food.

For little ones, enjoy a not-so-scary, FREE Halloween celebration on October 30th at Halloween Town in Sugar Land Town Square. Families are encouraged to show up in spooktacular costumes to compete in a costume contest, go trick-or-treating, and engage in some of the activity stations set up by local organizations and businesses. 

Christmas Tree Lighting

Mark your calendar for December 1st to watch the lighting of the largest tree in Sugar Land at the Christmas Tree Lighting event in Sugar Land Town Square. The evening will include vibrant performances by musicians, dancers, and a grand entrance from Santa himself!
