A teahouse known for its boba teas and matcha milk foam toppers is headed to Sugar Land retail development University Commons.

On Saturday, February 9, Houstonia Magazine hosted its 6th Annual Gumbo Smackdown, presented by Sugar Land Town Square.

All around Houston last year, major construction projects were completed — from downtown trophy towers and huge industrial projects to gorgeous parks and educational facilities.

These restaurants opened in the Sugar Land and Missouri City area in 2018 or are coming soon.

U’Maki Sushi Burrito is slated to open next May in the University Commons at 13445 University Blvd., Sugar Land, according to U’Maki’s corporate office.
