Heading to Sugar Land for a day and want to squeeze in some fun things to do? We’ve got good news for you, as we’ve prepared a list of activities, places to shop, and places to dine during your visit.
First, stop by the Sugar Land Heritage Museum and Visitor Center for an information download on things to do while you’re in the “Sweetest City in Texas,” from learning about Sugar Land’s humble beginnings to the must-attend events at Sugar Land Town Square this week. Plus, don’t forget to snap some selfies with our Sugar Land LED lights among other things to capture your visit and pick up a memento from the gift shop.
Sugar Land takes pride in its cultural diversity. This means there are plenty of options on where to eat no matter what your favorite cuisine is. One of our favorite spots to visit is The Rouxpour. This New Orleans-themed restaurant boasts French Quarter décor where you can enjoy Cajun favorites like gumbo, étouffée, and chargrilled oysters.
Celebrate the season in the most magical way at the 6th annual Sugar Land Holiday Lights at Constellation Field. This sparkling wonderland features more than 3 million lights and numerous themed displays. You can also get some holiday shopping with a variety of vendors, enjoy great food, and meet Santa.
Can’t leave the city with stopping by at one of our favorite sweet eateries Kilwin’s which, is located at Sugar Land Town Square. Try an assortment of their handmade treats to cure your sweet tooth. When you’ve finished, take a walk through Sugar Land Town Square and visit our boutiques and shops some of which you will only find here in Sugar Land.
