Co-founded by Emmy-award-winning directors, Brandon Oldenburg and Limbert Fabian, ex-Disney animator Kyle Clark and VR expert Taylor Williams, the Department of Wonder is an immersive, mixed-reality fantasy that takes its guests on an hour-long adventure that blurs the boundaries between physical and digital reality using technology and creative storytelling.
Explore the Lamp Maker’s shop before going on a quest to bring light to the dark universe. Then, use your unique lantern to find your way through a whimsical journey of unraveling stories and solving puzzles. Located in Sugar Land Town Square, a ticket to the Department of Wonder can be booked online on their website for $39 dollars per person.
To celebrate the opening of this new attraction, attend the Kaleidoscope event in Sugar Land Town Square on Saturday, April 23 starting at 6 p.m. The Kaleidoscope event features delicious food from Sugar Land’s best restaurants, a live performance by Dallas rock band Polyphonic Spree, theatrical showcases, interactive art exhibits, and a guest appearance by Cirque Berzerk!
