Summer Camps at HMNS Sugar Land 

Now through August 9 

Ages 6-12 

From robots and rocket science to mummies and spying, students can participate in a variety of weeklong camps at the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land. Before and after camp extended day care will be available for an additional cost. Cost: $147 - $740 


George Ranch Historical Park

Now through September  

Get hands-on with history this summer at the George Ranch Historical Park! Plan to visit in the morning from 10 a.m. to noon for hands-on history hour. These special hands-on experiences will rotate on a weekly basis all summer long. Cost is included with general admission! Inspiration Stage

Ages 4-19 

Now through August 14 

Inspiration Stage is offering twenty-four youth summer camps with themes including “Willy Wonka,” “Peter Pan,” “High School Musical,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Junie B. Jones.” At the end of each session, campers will perform for friends and family on the main stage, complete with costumes, lights, sound and set. Cost: $250.

Ages 5-14 

Now through August 

Lessons use different fine arts mediums to create projects based on a new theme each week. The camp culminates with a Kids Camp Art Show. Two three-hour session options are available. Cost: $164 plus $16 supply fee per camp per week each session.  


The Artsy Soul

The Artsy Soul is hosting a ten week long summer camp program. Junior artists will enjoy three hours of exciting projects with a variety of mediums, including canvas painting, pottery painting, and mosaics.  Every week there will be a different theme that everyone will enjoy. Sign up for one class or for the whole week! $50 / Per Day Per Artist for single class registration. Price will be discounted by 20% for weekly registration - $160 for 4 days, Mon-Thurs. If you register two or more siblings at the time of purchase you will receive an additional discount off your complete order. Discount only valid on orders completed with two or more siblings at the time of that purchase.

DIY Summer Camp is $250 per DIYer and goes from Monday-Friday in three-hour time slots depending on the Sugar Land location’s schedule. Boys and girls from the ages of 6-14 are welcome to get crafty! Each DIYer will choose their project designs from the galleries listed and take home one project at the end of each day. Drinks and snacks are welcome, however please note The Rustic Brush is a peanut-free zone. 


School of Rock

Ages 7-18  

Now through August 

Learn different forms of music all summer long with School of Rock, providing camp sessions and workshops for children and teens of all skill levels who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. Campers can learn alternative, heavy metal, rock and songwriting. Most sessions conclude with a live show performed by the campers. Cost: Starting at $99. 


City of Sugar Land

Ages 5-13 

Now through August  

The Imperial Park Recreation Center hosts an eleven-week summer camp program for local residents and nonresidents, beginning the week after Fort Bend ISD ends classes. Children participate in outdoor games and activities, take weekly field trips and go swimming twice a week. Extended day options are available for an extra fee. Cost: $165 per week for residents, $195 per week for nonresidents.

Action Packed Summer

Cast your crew because it's almost call time! This summer, the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center and Constellation is bringing Hollywood to Fort Bend as they transform into your very own movie production studio and make YOU the star. Get in the movie star mood as you take a picture in front of the Famous Hollywood landmark, the TLC Chinese Theatre! Then, head down Junktion Hall and design your own Hollywood Star for the walk of fame.

Sur la Table’s Sugar Land location is offering three-day and five-day cooking adventures for children and teens, who will learn cooking basics from baking pizza to grilling kabobs to making frozen desserts from the resident chef. In the final class, campers will show off their skills in a Mystery Box team competition. Ages 8-17 years old. Cost: $150-$249.
