Smart Financial Centre sets a new standard for live performance venues, hosting a diverse lineup of national music, comedy artists, family shows, and theatrically-staged Broadway productions, as well as cultural and performing arts attractions.   

The Smart Financial Centre is strategically located 22 miles from downtown Houston off of U.S. Highway 59 and University Boulevard. Designed for flexibility, the 200,000 square-foot, indoor climate-controlled venue incorporates innovative moveable walls that can expand and contract to create four different seating capacities that range from an intimate setting of 1,900 seats to a maximum of 6,400, including 14 luxury suites, corporate hospitality areas, and the latest sound, light, and video technology. Other offerings include space to house up to 14 trucks and buses, as well as 2,500 guest parking spaces.

• Bag Policy: Medical or parenting bags are permitted at the venue and will be addressed on a case by case basis and subject to search. Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 4.5″x6.5" Clear bags should not exceed 12"x6"x12". All bags larger than a small clutch bag will need to be clear. Bags for medical equipment (sized appropriately to the size of the equipment) are permitted, but will be subject to search, i.e. small items like medication need to follow the standard bag policy above. Diaper/parenting bags (accompanied by infant/toddler) are permitted but will be subject to search. Following standard safety protocol, all unattended items and bags left outside the gates or within the venue will be removed from the facility immediately. Bags, purses or backpacks of any kind will not be accepted by Guest Services and you will be asked to take them back to your vehicle. 

• Food & Beverage: Guests are not permitted to bring outside food or beverage onto facility grounds. 

• Parking: Accessible parking is available, and is located to the east of the SFC Plaza Area and marked with easy-to-follow directional signs. Elevators are located on the north and south side of the lobby concourse. The accessible drop-off area is located on the southwest side of the facility.
