This is definitely the place where you can spend an entire weekend—night times included! 

Everyone has their own idea of what makes up a great nighttime scene. Whether it’s a guy group, a family, or some ladies on the town, we can all agree that we like to eat, drink and be merry. Vino & Vinyl offers a fun vibe, great food and rocking music!

Vino & Vinyl—Mimosa flight?! Yes, please! With exotic offerings like octopus tacos, or mainstream offerings like a bacon and brie burger, stop by and enjoy the coolest vibes, where local artists have their works on display, the wall is lined with records for sale and the DJ is in the corner playing a lively blend of familiar and obscure music. Oldies, classics, jams…keep the mood lively. On weekend evenings, reservations are a good idea.  V&V is a culinary-driven restaurant with a focus on small production wines and craft beers, just like the supper clubs of the 1930s. Vino & Vinyl offers a variety of gluten-free food, and the menu indicates vegetarian, dairy-free and nut-free choices. 

 

Bar Louie—This gastrobar serves chef-inspired food and imaginative drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. Don’t let the name fool you. It may be a bar, yet the food is restaurant quality. The menu features flatbreads, salads, craft burgers, sandwiches, main plates like southern fried chicken, voodoo pasta, fish and chips, seared salmon, mac and cheese and a surprisingly plentiful kid’s menu. You’ll be surprised at the variety of drinks, and Thursdays are Girls Night Out specials! Tuesdays feature their famous $5 craft burger special. 

 

The Rustic Brush is where you can bring out your crafty side! Paint all sorts of artistic wooden items and décor, either in open sessions, or book a private mini party! It’s a BYOB place, so you can liven this gathering up as much as you like! Rustic Brush is open till 10 p.m.

 

Lasbela Restaurant & Catering— This South Asian restaurant provides an extensive menu of Pakistani standards and drinks.

 

Escape Again Rooms challenges you and your friends to find your way out of a locked area, using your wits, clues and a bit of luck.

Emit Cigars --Upscale cigar lounge offering a spot to lean back, enjoy a smoke and feel sophisticated.

 

The Roof on the Lake—When the restaurant’s up on the roof, you know you can count on a good view! They have a high-end menu, featuring great grilled foods. Reservations recommended, especially for live music on Thursdays. You’ll be awed by the panoramic view of Sugar Land overlooking Brooks Lake.

Baker St. Pub and Grill features ongoing karaoke, dance parties, bands, team trivia, along with a large menu with plenty of options.

 

Pennison’s Sports Pub—Billed as Sugar Land’s oldest bar, Pennison’s has 20+ flat screen TVs featuring the NFL Package and Comcast SportsNet. Don’t be mistaken; this is a true sports bar. They don’t serve full meals and can even be considered a bona fide hole in the wall. Different nights feature themes including dart night, poker night, water pong night and karaoke night. They have live music, pool tournaments, video games and bar food, but no big meals.

 

Gridiron Bar and Grill offers UFC, boxing, football, baseball, soccer, trivia, poker, Singo Bingo, karaoke, comedy, open MIC and live DJs. In an interesting twist, they specialize in Thai food and culture! Crawfish specials, when in season, are all-you-can eat on Sundays. Don’t forget to check out the 60-cent wings special from 2-10 p.m.
