Sugar Land Movie Night Series

The Sugar Land Movie Series at Crown Festival Park is a drive-in movie experience that is fun for the whole family. Purchase your tickets in advance and enjoy a night out under the stars as we screen some of Hollywood's biggest blockbuster hits!

Movie audio will be broadcast through the transmitter radio in your vehicle. Concessions, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale. Restrooms and hand sanitation stations will be available on-site. Keep reading below for details.

  • Take US-59 Southbound towards Victoria
  • Use the right 2 lanes to exit toward FM 2759/TX-99/Crabb River Rd./Grand Pkwy
  • Make a U-Turn
  • Continue straight to US-59 Frontage Rd.
  • Right on Festival Blvd.

Drive-In Rules

  • Speed limit is 5 mph
  • Turn off your engine and keep it off after you are parked
  • Masks are required at all times when outside your vehicle.
  • When leaving, please exit towards the right.
  • Do NOT leave children unattended
  • Do NOT sit on top of your vehicle
  • Do NOT spin your tires


COVID Safety Rules

  • Attendees are encouraged to perform pre-screen temperature checks at home prior to attending movie screenings.
  • Please refrain from attending a movie showing if you are experiencing a fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms. 
  • Face masks are required if you exit your vehicle for any reason, including going to the restroom and purchasing concessions. Staff members will walk around to ensure attendees are abiding by face mask regulations.
  • Attendees must practice social distancing at all times when outside of the vehicle.
  • Hand sanitation stations will be available at concession areas. However, attendees are encouraged to bring personal hand sanitizers for use inside of the vehicle.

What happens in the event of bad weather?

To ensure general public safety, we reserve the right to cancel the movie showing at any point due to poor weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, high winds, lightning, etc.

How much are tickets? How many people are allowed per vehicle?

Tickets are $20 per car. Everyone in the car must have a designated seating space with a seatbelt as determined by the vehicle's standard seating capacity.

How can I purchase a ticket?

Can I buy tickets at the door? 

No. To ensure proper planning and for traffic control purposes. Only pre-sold tickets will be accepted.

Can I purchase tickets the day of?

Yes. Tickets will be available up to 20 minutes prior to show time.

What is your refund policy?

For canceled events, refunds will be available  upon request. If showings are rescheduled, original tickets will be honored on the new date. 

How will I receive a refund if there is a problem?

Unless canceled by the producer, refunds will NOT be available, however the customer will have the option to choose an alternate date. Ticket refunds WILL be offered to individuals that choose to stay home due to health and safety concerns. For ticket challenges at the site, please visit the box office on the premises.

When does parking begin?

Parking begins at 5 p.m. to allow for enough time for people to arrive and park their vehicles before the movie begins.

Can I bring an RV, or other large oversized vehicles?

Large vehicles such as RVs, buses, shuttles, or large passenger vans of more than 10 people are not permitted.

Can I pick my parking spot?

Cars will be parked on a first come, first serve basis starting with parking spaces closest to the screen working back.

Can we run our engine during the movie?

No. We ask that you turn off your engine once you are parked. Noisy car engines are bothersome to your neighbors in the car next to you. Also, carbon monoxide is poisonous and can build up when several vehicles are running in close proximity to one another.

Can I leave my headlights on during the movie?

No. We ask that you turn off all lights once you are parked. Lighting apart from the light coming from the screen can be distracting to your neighbors around you.

How do you hear the movie?

Audio will be available through a radio transmitter, as well as projecting through the screen's speakers on-site. The radio transmission channel will be posted on the screen prior to the movie showing.

Are concessions available for purchase?

Yes, concessions like popcorn, candy, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc. As well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Will outside food and beverage be allowed?

Since concessions will be available for purchase, you will not need to bring outside food and beverages.

Will outside alcohol be allowed on the premises?

No, outside alcohol will not be allowed on the premises.

What if my battery goes dead?

Jumper cable assistance will be available on-site.

Can we bring our pets to the movie?

Yes, as long as you keep your pet inside of your vehicle.

Can we drop off our kids and pick them up later?

No. Children may NOT be left unattended.

Will there be restrooms on-site?

Yes, restrooms will be available on-site.
