With the onset of summer break and rising temperatures, we’re all looking for ways to beat the heat and have some outdoor fun! Here are some places in Sugar Land where you can enjoy water activities.

Located just behind the RiverPark neighborhood pool, the Splash Pad at RiverPark has fun water fountains, dumping buckets, and a misting rainbow for you to experience water in a variety of fun ways! Press the green button beside the splash pad and enjoy!

Splash Pad at Smart Financial Centre Plaza

Grab a cool drink from one of the many tapioca shops along University Boulevard like Fengcha or Kung Fu Tea and head to the splash pad at the Smart Financial Centre. This splash pad is a great aquatic play area fun for all ages open all day from Tuesday to Sunday, and from 1 P.M. to sunset on Monday, and a great place to cool off!

Head to Sugar Land Memorial Park for a serene day outdoors. Pack a picnic basket and set camp at the pavilions, then grab your paddleboard or kayak and head to the pristine lake in the park. Soak in the blue and green scenery around you while you float on the water. Get your kayak rentals on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Worried your furry friends will feel left out? Take them to Pawm Springs next Sugar Land Memorial Park so they can splash around too!
